Watch as Rian Johnson goes out of his way to abandon everything that makes Star Wars, Star Wars and turns a once defined and incredibly successful franchise into a movie that feels just like every other mega movie money grab franchise out today. Squeal with excitement as Finn and Rose travel into a Harry Potter novel and find the most irrelevant characters to help them on a completely unnecessary quest which ends in utter failure, all over an intergalactic parking violation. Delight in scenes depicting deep sea fishing and space walrus milking with Luke Skywalker, the most famous mountain hobo in the galaxy. Basically; good luck.

I honestly can’t believe Disney and Lucasfilms released this garbage. What a sad moment for Star Wars. Not even worth seeing episode 9.
  • Thanks for ruining Star Wars Disney...

First things first, this movie is completely overrated. “Great well written characters!” I saw someone who’s comment included this sentence, and the fanboy/girl came out of this person. Okay, so now that’s out of the way-if all you want in a movie is explosions and cool spaceships, this is for you. I will admit, it looks absolutely stunning. Every scene looks like we might as well be in the scene. It’s really immersive because of the visual and audio perfection-until feminism strikes again. It could of been a great movie, if it wasn’t always trying to pander to SJWs. The female characters are poorly written and stupid-and yet they get most of the credit because their stupidity puts them in the perfect spots to make “heroic sacrifices,” (to add more female role models to Hollywood) even though they could have not been such idiots in the first place-and survived. Also, in this movie every male is treated like garbage. (Spoiler warning from here on out.) The legendary Admiral Ackbar is killed so suddenly, without any last words-and the bridge crew all die, including Leia. Except..She starts force levitating to the ship, then she’s put in a coma for the rest of the movie. Until, Poe is about to disobey haldos orders and is about to make a good decision, when Leia wakes up and stun guns him for no reason other than (let girls take charge while the men act all stupid, so women can be better than men). I mean, I’m a guy and I’m okay with women taking charge-but what Leia did was stupid. Okay, sorry to take up your time. You should still watch it, but don’t buy it unless you really like it. Don’t be a fanboy/girl. K 👋🏻
  • The Last Jedi...or last Rian Johnson movie...

I can’t believe Disney bought Lucas for $4B only to create a movie like this. The plot throws out all cannon, tries to establish a SJW rally, while totally shitting on Luke and what he meant to the entire Franchise. From the trailers I have seen if Solo, good luck, because the guy playing the young Solo can’t act and is stiff as a board...not exactly Solo’s persona.

So not worth the purchase. A complete incoherent debacle. I want my $20 back.

I love Star Wars. I love movies with strong female characters like Alien. I am not a bad person. But this movie is terrible.

It's a bad movie. The jokes fall flat and it is altogether poorly written. The original expanded universe where the three-eyed son of Emperor Palpatine's concubine attempts to marry a robot Princess Leia (not even joking). Is better written than this film. The poor quality of this film feels like a rock forming in your stomach as you watch it and hope it gets better... but it doesn't.
  • No.

This is not a Star Wars movie. Luke Skywalker is not in this film. Does that sound like attempted self-delusion? Then bear this in mind... In Return of Jedi, Luke risked his life and the success of the Rebellion to redeem the second most evil man in the galaxy. Because he had faith and hope in his family. The Last Jedi would have us believe that that same man would seriously contemplate murdering his own nephew. And then when he failed, that he would run away and hide like a coward, abandoning his sister and best friend. Then, finally, comitting suicide because he did something 'hard'. This is *not* what Star Wars is about. I only even give it one star because Mark Hamill himself is still awesone, and he really rocks that beard.

It’s a sci-fi movie, I get it. But, it’s not a good one. If you just want eye candy with Star Wars, this movie is fine. The plot is choppy and the characters are weak, weak, weak. A few are just plain silly. I’m not talking about the ones that are supposed to be silly. Feels like they throw some favorites in there from back in the day to try and get some nostalgia going. I’m sure it will make a Billion for Disney. That doesn’t change the fact its poorly written. The best parts of the movie are Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver. I’ll be happy when they both get through with these contracts and return to making good movies. Can’t blame them for taking the gig.

Convenient story line. Too much slap stick comedy and what the heck was the whole casino thing supposed to be about? I mean I get it but it seemed like a waste, like we were being taught something, but we already knew it. So the last Jedi, not the last Jedi? I mean Luke could transport across a galaxy but cannot handle falling off that table? 🤣😂🤣 Too much!!!
